ORGANIZE AN EVENT

Want to hold an event?
  1. Be an approved club
  2. Complete and submit an event form (please allow two weeks for approval - plan ahead!)
  3. Wait for confirmation that your event has been approved (ASB will submit an approved event slip to your advising teacher's mailbox)
  4. Feel free to spend club funds and advertise as needed!
  • Note that school-sponsored clubs must have their advisor present
  • Your advisor needs to fill out a facilities request form if you are using an on campus location.

Ways to advertise:
>> Daily bulletin:
  1. Create an awesome powerpoint slide.  Feel free to add fun animations or pictures!  It will run for approximately 4 seconds
  2. Email your powerpoint slide to Mr. Kortman.  Powerpoints should be sent no later than noon the day before you would like it to air
  3. In your email, be sure to include what day(s) you would like it to run

>> Hang up flyers or poster:
  1. Create a stunning flyer or poster
  2. Have it stamped by ASB.  Any pub without the approval stamp will be taken down
  3. After your event has happened, please take down your publicity the next day
