Student Senate
The Student Senate, formerly known as House of Representatives, is one of the ways that ASB connects with the student body. At the beginning of each semester, second period classes hold individual elections for a Senator to represent each class at a monthly Student Senate meeting. In addition to the elected Senator, each second period class should have a designated alternate in case the Senator is absent. Meetings are typically the second Tuesday of the month at 10:00 AM. Senators receive information from ASB to present to their second period classes. In addition, Senators have the important job of voting on various decisions to help ASB be intertwined with the student body. If you wanted to be a Senator but were not elected, don't worry, ASB welcomes input from all of our student body.
